In the course of a 10 week boat journey from Krems/Austria to Ruse/Bulgaria Rainer Prohaska and his crew built a swimming sculpture. The extensions of the boat took place during the trip on the river Danube. All used materials and objects where found, bought or exchanged in the regions along the river banks. [2007 - 2008]

Gazebo Extensions

The gazebo at the Stadtpark in Krems was the centre and starting point of the project 'Gazebo Extensions'. The vacant building was equipped with basic interior features by a construction team under the supervision of the artist. In the course of the donaufestival, it was gradually enlarged and took on more functional and aesthetic elements, and also extended into the surrounding park. [2008]

Unplugger

'Unplugged' was the topic of the 'Ars Electronica 2002' in Linz. As a result of the artistic examination of the topic, the 'Unplugger' was created – an efficient device to prevent most communication and social interaction.
