From 2 to 8 August, Rainer Prohaska presented his project "THE FUSION ISLAND SHOW" in the port of Novi Sad as part of "Novi Sad - European Capital of Culture 2022".
On seven evenings, selected guests were invited to spend a unique evening on the MS-FUSION. Rainer Prohaska spoke about the 20-year development of the Danube ship MS-FUSION, which he designed, and explained the construction of the ship from an artistic and technical perspective.
Afterwards, he invited the guests to a harbour tour and an excursion on the open Danube. In this context, there was a cooperation with the Austrian-Serbian artist Igor F. Petković, who created the project "We all live in. (a Yellow Submarine) - Art Installation on the Danube - Novi Sad". As part of the tour, the guests were taken to this installation in the middle of the Danube to see it up close from the MS-FUSION. After returning to the port of Novi Sad, the ship was transformed into an "open-air cinema" in a few simple steps as darkness fell.
